DI (FH) T. H. Thuan Christine Huynh Buu
Christine holds an MSc. degree in bioinformatics. She worked as an application scientist and software tester in the field of computer-aided drug design at the company Inte:Ligand (Computer Science, Software and Algorithms Group) in Vienna. Currently she takes a sabbatical year doing research in the field of fascia as a member of the Fascia Research Group (University of Ulm).
Priv.-Doz. DI (FH) Dr. Bernhard Knapp
Bernhard holds a MSc in bioinformatics, a PhD in computational immunology, and a habiliation in Bioinformatics. He worked for four years as Assistant Professor in the field of immunoinformatics at the Medical University of Vienna. He then obtained a research fellowship with the University of Oxford where he soon also became Associate Director of the Centre for Doctoral Training for "Systems Approaches to Biomedical Science". In September 2016 he will start a tenure track Associate Professor position with the UIC university in Barcelona.
Mag. DI Dr. Christian Siehs
Christian holds a PhD in computer science and a MSc. in microbiology & genetics. He focuses on the integration and analysis of complex biomedical data. Additionally he has been teaching bio- and medical informatics and data analysis at Applied University Technikum Wien and Applied University Hagenberg for over 12 years. Christian works as freelance bioinformatician and data analyst. His current focus on eLearning led to his employment at Otto Bock Healthcare GmbH as groupleader for trainingsmanagement and new media.
Dr. Andreas Kremer
Andreas is a co-founder and the Managing Director of ITTM S.A. Before he held the position of Senior Key Expert and Focus Area Lead at Siemens AG for the area of Systems Biology and Systems Medicine. He co-developed solutions and prototypes for diagnostic research and has a track record in clinical research, the pharmaceutical and knowledge management industry. Overall Andreas combines more than 15 years of experience in various positions with increasing responsibilities in Pharma, Clinical Research and Diagnostics as well as E2E Business. Andreas received his PhD in Genetics at the University of Cologne, Germany.
